CVRCM fosters the active participation of persons of all ages in radio controlled modelling. This includes building and flying models either with small internal combustion engines or battery powered electric motors.

We are a small club that has a relaxed atmosphere that is located off McIvor Highway along Hodges Lane, Longlea.

Grampians Model Flying Club is a boutique club situated at the Ararat Airfield on the western highway Ararat.
Perfect for glider and Imac flying due to our 1200ft AGL height clearance.
We also boast a fully heated and air conditioned clubroom, along with bunk house accommodation. We also have powered and unpowered camp sites available.
We also have a fully equipped workshop for those onsite repairs.
GMFC is the perfect family getaway due to numerous local attractions located nearby which includes the Grampians National Park.

We are located at Spadones Reserve, 194 Victoria Road Yering Victoria next to the Melbourne Gun club.

Our field caters for small to medium sized radio controlled model aircraft and members fly a variety of sport models including trainers, foamies, gliders, scale models and everything in between.

We are proud of our flying field and facilities which allow our members the opportunity to enjoy a great day of flying.

We welcome new members and visitors. We fly most days with Tuesdays and weekends being the most popular. Feel free to contact us or drop in for a chat.

The Victorian Free Flight Society (V.F.F.S.) is a group of enthusiasts who fly 'free flight' model aircraft for fun, fitness and sport!
Free Flight model aircraft are, as the name suggests, model aircraft which 'fly free' after they have been launched, i.e. not under the direct control of the flier. Free Flight models are designed and adjusted to be inherently stable and self correcting throughout their flight. Flight patterns are controlled by pre flight adjustments and timers that can change the flight mode mid-flight and/or terminate the flight, rather than by continuous remote control.

There are indoor and outdoor variants of 3 basic categories; gliders, rubber driven and motor powered and these can be contest machines, sport fun flyers or scale models. They range in size from 15 cm span and a few grams, to 2 meters span and up to 1kg. All are built and trimmed to fly pre-set flight patterns without any external control.

The sport of free-flight is one with a long history of competition and endeavour, being the earliest form of aeromodelling. It provides a unique blend of construction skills and physical activity, which can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

It is a rewarding family sport providing outdoor and indoor flying pleasure at moderate expense to suit anyone's budget. To assist newcomers, V.F.F.S. members offer assistance with advice on what to build, materials, sources of supply, construction and trimming.

Located about 15 km from Hamilton in Western Victoria, our friendly club runs three major events each year: a Warbirds showcase on ANZAC Day, a competitive Pylon meet in May, and a family-friendly Funfly each November

Nestled adjacent to the bushland and close to the Murray River, the Moira Model Aircraft Club (MMAC) is located just a short 5-minute drive from Cobram.

At MMAC, we fly a variety of RC models, including sports planes, trainers, jets, gliders and aero tow, helicopters, as well as control line models.

Camping is available by prior arrangement, and the club offers great facilities, including toilets, showers, a clubroom with a kitchen, and cooking facilities.

The purpose of the CLAMF Aerosports is to stimulate interest in the hobby/sport of building and flying control line model aircraft.

The purpose of CLAMF Aerosports is:

To educate the public interested in model aircraft and to provide a family-friendly and enjoyable environment to participate in the discipline of model Aerosports with like-minded individuals.
Maintain a safe flying environment for the recreational use of model aircraft under the provisions set forth by the CLAMF, VMAA (Victorian Model Aircraft Association) and MAAA (Model Aircraft Association of Australia).
Provide an alternate form of recreation that engages our youth that offers positive influence and promotes leadership and responsibility
Facilitate and promote the education of model Aerosports flying through club fellowship.
To provide flight training for multiple types disciplines including free flight. The interests of club members are diverse with many different types of aircraft and propulsion systems. We have novice/amateur/expert pilots, mechanics, instructors and engineers with a wealth of knowledge.

Visitors are always welcome at our flying field particularly on Sunday morning where the models will range from trainers for beginner pilots to scale and aerobatic aircraft for the more experienced.
Anyone interested is invited to visit on a Sunday morning or contact the club by email or phone and arrange a trial flight with a club instructor.
