Enjoy the Sport of Aeromodelling at Moira Model Aircraft Club

Nestled adjacent to the bushland and close to the Murray River, the Moira Model Aircraft Club (MMAC) is located just a short 5-minute drive from Cobram.

At MMAC, we fly a variety of RC models, including sports planes, trainers, jets, gliders and aero tow, helicopters, as well as control line models.

Camping is available by prior arrangement, and the club offers great facilities, including toilets, showers, a clubroom with a kitchen, and cooking facilities.

NFG is a VMAA State Field

Located at Darraweit Guim, Northern Flying Group is the caretaker club for the VMAA State Field. NFG is a club with a proud history, and holds the firm belief that we are here to have fun, and help other members to achieve excellence in flying.

The P&DARCS (Pakenham & District Aircraft Radio Control Society) is a leading RC flying club in Victoria, offering exceptional facilities for model aviation enthusiasts. With multiple runways, the club accommodates all types of aircraft, from sport planes to large gas turbine models, with flying operations approved to 1500ft AGL and generous, unimpeded approaches. Pilots can enjoy sheltered pit areas, providing comfort and protection during flight preparation. The site is equipped with mains power and 12V charging facilities, ensuring members have convenient access to power for their equipment. Whether you're a novice or an experienced flyer, P&DARCS offers a welcoming and well-equipped environment to elevate your flying experience.

At Parcs our club invites people of all ages and experience that are interested in building and flying RC aircraft to join and enjoy the thrill of flying.
If you are new to the sport we have a team of instructors that will assist you in your flying journey. As you gain experience we hope that you will enjoy the friendly and cooperative mood of the club.

SADAC is a friendly, casual flying club located on the edge of Sale township.

Typically gatherings are found on the mornings of Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Visitors welcome.

There is usually someone there who can take those interested for a trial flight on a very easy and safe to fly, dual control trainer under supervised instruction.

Please note that our close proximity to the East Sale RAAF Base brings with it some special requirements regarding flying height ceiling management that is critical to our ongoing operations.

The club is a long, established Melbourne based radio control model aircraft club, born in the early eighties by a small group of modelers who simply wanted to enjoy each other’s company whilst pursuing their common interest of flying model aircraft, free to explore the different facets of the sport without the pressures of competition.

This objective is unchanged today and we pride ourselves on our tradition of training new members and introducing them to the same pleasures of building and flying their own aircraft that we enjoy.

We are therefore by definition a “sport and training club” but at its heart we do what we do because we just get joy from seeing our creations fly and the ability to control our creations from a hand-held magic box is still wondrous.
We see no need to prove you can fly faster, higher, better or more accurately than the next person-we maintain our enthusiasm without competition.
This is not to say our organization discourages members challenging themselves to improve their flying skills or tackle a difficult project; quite the opposite. The beauty of the way we operate is that all members have the entire skill and experience base of the club freely available at call to help them achieve their objective and goals.

To see a beginner go “solo” or to witness the successful maiden flight of a new creation brings great pleasure to all and these events are much celebrated.
Our club generates interest in a wide variety of model types from gliders, electric, scale and many others although we do not encourage the development of special interest or splinter groups.

Our common interest creates enduring camaraderie within the organization, strong friendships are made and the social aspects of discussing events and experiences are as important to most members as the flying aspects of the club.

Our “statement of purpose” is well summarized in our constitution which reads; “The objects of the club are to foster and promote the art of radio control model aircraft, to organize and encourage good will to all that become associated with the club, and to develop the construction and flying skills of its members”.

Sunraysia Aeromodellers has been located at our current site since 1981. We fly all year round showcasing all disciplines of aeromodelling. Our very active membership see's our club field utilized most days of the week. A very friendly and knowledgeable experience awaits visitors and new members.

The Twin Cities Model Aero Club (TCMAC) has proudly served the Albury-Wodonga area’s aero modelling community for over fifty years, welcoming enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds. Located just north of Albury, our facility offers three runways, a dedicated electric and free-flight area, and an impressive 80 meter concrete and grass circles for control line models. Equipped with a clubhouse, shade, and amenities, TCMAC provides a top-notch experience for hobbyists, fostering a vibrant community bound by the love of model aviation. The Victorian Free Flight Society (V.F.F.S.) is a group of enthusiasts who fly 'free flight' model aircraft for fun, fitness and sport!
Free Flight model aircraft are, as the name suggests, model aircraft which 'fly free' after they have been launched, i.e. not under the direct control of the flier. Free Flight models are designed and adjusted to be inherently stable and self correcting throughout their flight. Flight patterns are controlled by pre flight adjustments and timers that can change the flight mode mid-flight and/or terminate the flight, rather than by continuous remote control.

There are indoor and outdoor variants of 3 basic categories; gliders, rubber driven and motor powered and these can be contest machines, sport fun flyers or scale models. They range in size from 15 cm span and a few grams, to 2 meters span and up to 1kg. All are built and trimmed to fly pre-set flight patterns without any external control.

The sport of free-flight is one with a long history of competition and endeavour, being the earliest form of aeromodelling. It provides a unique blend of construction skills and physical activity, which can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

It is a rewarding family sport providing outdoor and indoor flying pleasure at moderate expense to suit anyone's budget. To assist newcomers, V.F.F.S. members offer assistance with advice on what to build, materials, sources of supply, construction and trimming.

We are a group of guys who mostly fly model aircraft but all types of models are most welcome. We don't have any restrictions on when we can fly but we do meet regularly on Wednesdays from 11am for lunch regardless of the weather. Of course if the weather is good we also fly. Sunday morning is also a regular flying time. We hold a annual Funfly on the third weekend in March, this is open to the public and members from other clubs are most welcome. We can assist new members to become able to fly and we have a club trainer that we can use for instructing.

Werribee Model Aircraft Association (WMAA) is a welcoming club to visit.
We fly most days when the weather is permitting.
Our hours are 9am-5pm 7 days a week. We have 3 grass runways to allow for larger models and wind direction.
We're a like-minded bunch of model flyers that enjoy the hobby of Aero Modelling in its many forms and varied aircraft types.
The pits area offers shade and comfort while tending to your models.

WPMAC caters for most R/C models, fixed wings, gliders and heli's.
Members have 7 day access to the field which is located in an open area.
We have a kitchen, toilet, shower and charging facilities.

WyndhamRC is our new name and the field is located at Lawrie Emmins Reserve, Old Geelong Road Laverton sports ground precinct. Our goal for the club is to be the Home of RC model aircraft in the West.
All the major roads (M1, M80, Palmers, Fitzgerald, Leakes & Sayers) intersect nearby help access by car or bike path.
Supported by Council the club will soon have improved facilities in 2025. We proudly join with CityMX motorbike track, Archery, Cricket and Football clubs in providing a local activity.
Open 7 days a week, 8am to 6pm the field will attract many from the surrounding suburbs to take up model aircraft sport.
Fixed Wing, Helicopter, Drone, and Glider pilots enjoy our uninterrupted of 8ha airspace.

Yarravalley Aeromodellers Club (YVA) encourage anyone interested (new or experienced) to come along to one of our monthly meetings and/or contact the club secretary to arrange a visit to the club field and a chat about this most rewarding of pastimes. We particularly encourage those who are new to the hobby.
