P&DARCS is a multi-disciplined model flying club, catering for all models in all sizes. The field of some 100 acres is owned by the club, with three active runways to allow for all wind directions. We have a CASA Area Approval Instrument to operate up to 1500ft (under our Operating Procedure conditions). A minimum of MAAA bronze wings is required to operate at P&DARCS, and a minimum of MAAA gold wings for all turbine operations. Giant models up to 60kg may operate up to 800ft (conditional to area approval requirements).
