VMAA – Helping with Display/Competition Days Many clubs may not be aware that the VMAA have invested in a number of items to assist clubs in display or competition days. In fact, the equipment can be used for any acitivity the club would like to hosts. The idea is simple, try to help clubs with some of the loan equipment and reduce cost. The equipment/items can be borrowed at any time, as long it is avialble and no other club has these items out on loan. The process is simple and by filling out the Loans Form and submitting it to the Secretery for processing. The equipment/items available at the moment is as follows: Pilot Bibs, Qty 100, numbered from 1 – 100 Safety Vests, Qty 10 Officials Vests, Qty 4 Safety Vests, Qty1 Flight Line Director Vest, Qty 1 Event Director Vest, Frequency Scanner: Scanner Power Lead Carry case, Uniden Two Way Hand Held Radio: Qty 6 Radio Qty 6 Mic’s Qty 6 Head Sets Qty 3 Chargers Carry Case Generator: Qty 1 Generator P.A. System Qty 1 Amplifier, in carry case Qty 1 Mic Cordless Qty 1 Mic Fixed, w/lead Qty 6 Speaker Qty 6 Speaker Stands Qty 6 50M Speaker cables Qty 4 Carry Bags Qty 1 Sony Walkman CD Player Crowd Control Qty 20 Barrier poles Qty 40 Metres Plastic Chain Shade Shelters Qty 2 "A" Frame Style Shade Shelters Qty 2 3M Square Marque Style You may need to pick and return the equipment up from the State Field, or, alternatively at one of the VMAA Committee meetings, or other arrangements may be arranged to get it to the the North , South Eastern or Western area's, just talk to the VMAA Sec to arrange a location.
The list above is what we have been asked, and through our own experience of what is needed. If you feel there are other items which need to be included and will benefit the many, then let the VMAA know so we can have a look at. The idea is to reduce cost and make your activity that little bit better and safer. So if you need any of the above equipment/items, be quick and put in yuor loan application as soon as you can so you so will not miss out. Safe flying... |
