DESCRIPTION:Bairnsdale and District Model Aero Club are hosting the third Warbirds over Bairnsdale event on the Melbourne Cup Long Weekend. The event will run over the weekend\, but the field will be open from the Thursday through to Tuesday.\nPilot entry is $25. Public entry is by gold coin donation.\nThere will be onsite catering all weekend. EFTPOS available.\nAll military aircraft welcome with pilot’s choice awards for best propeller monoplane\, best biplane and best other military aircraft.\nThere will be a raffle over the weekend and a pilot’s draw for entered pilots.\nThe club has excellent camping facilities for pilots\, including toilets\, hot showers\, cooking facilities and a great fire ring for evening debriefing.
