214 Quayles Rd, Darraweit Gium (MelWay 425 G3) The Clubhouse Details The State Flying Field over the past 18 month has gone through a fantastic transformation. This transformation is making the field one of the best available to all club members, groups and Special Interest Groups. The transformation is not completed but is progressing and will continue over the coming months. This work could not have been possible without the dedicated work by the host club, Northern Flying Group. The Clubhouse Interior Great facilities are available and are first class for all to use. The photographs you see were only taken couple of week ago and shows clearly what is available. You can even plan to stay overnight and there is plenty of room for camping. Kitchen Facilities Over the past 12 months the field has been host to helicopter events, glider championships and scale events. Other events coming up are 3D Aerobatics and pylon racing just to name a few. Runway If you would like to book in to use the field please get in touch with the VMAA secretary for the application form. Alternatively you can
visit the VMAA web page at www.vmaa.com.au and on the left hand side of the page under "Quick Links" select procedures and forms. Ample Parking Details of the Northern Flying Group club are located on the VMAA web site. Just locate the "Find a Club" tab on the top tool bar and click on "State Field". The field is there for all to use and enjoy, so why not visit or plan an event. Showering Facilities - Stay Overnight! The field is being well utilized and can only continue to become better. The State Field will be the place to be for all VMAA modellers.
